Why
didn't your Thanksgiving Turkey Burger win the 2002 National
Cattlemen's Beef Association Build-a-Better Burger cook-off?
While it was
a top-ten
finalist in the alternative burger category, my
burger lost to a
1,200 calorie shrimp-and-corn burger made by
a woman who baked
her own challah rolls, and had them
shipped 3,500 miles to the
fairgrounds in a suitcase. The
odds were against me from the start.
